Giving Homeowners the Power to Fight Back
In response to the high number of foreclosures in South Florida, Reaching U Network Inc., will kick off their “2012 Financial Empowerment Movement Foreclosure Prevention†workshop series. The free workshop is open to the public and will include a panel discussion of how to identify mortgage scams, understanding the foreclosure process, identity theft and homeowners’ rights and homeownership. The Reaching U Network, Inc. case analysis team will be able to provide one-to one consultations for homeowners facing foreclosure. Attendees are encouraged to bring loan document and other relevant financial information to the workshop. Representatives from Citi-Bank and 1st Priority will also be on hand to answer questions.

• According to RealtyTrac, 1.9 million homes, entered the foreclosure process in 2011 and 2012’s foreclosure rate will be higher than in 2011.

Reaching U Network, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping who are in midst of having their homes foreclosed. They work with a team of financial planners, attorneys and banks who will help to navigate their client’s budget challenges and provide counseling to help avoid foreclosures.
