As part of Wood Tavern’s social responsibility program Do Good At Wood, on Thursday March 29 Wood will host a night dedicated to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. In an effort to raise awareness about mesothelioma – one the rarest and most underfunded cancers in the world – Wood will donate an hour of complimentary cocktail with donation, full proceeds going to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation on behalf of online sunglass giant Shadesdaddy.com. In addition to the cocktail hour, Shadesdaddy.com will be rewarding donors with a free pair of Shadesdaddy.com Wayfarers. Minimum $20 donation.
