Celebration will include free wine and 50% off drinks, unveiling of Public Service Announcement for Veterans Link Up as well as donations made to support Veterans Link Up

Leadership Miami, a Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce program, has challenged its current class to develop projects that make a meaningful distribution in our community. Team 4 iGNITE MIAMI has identified a need with returning military veterans. iGNITE MIAMI seeks to focus their efforts to help enhance Veterans Link Up’s development and capacity to serve the community through social change efforts, public awareness campaign, and hosting a family fun picnic.

As a part of this program, Leadership Miami’s Team 4 iGNITE MIAMI is hosting a series of events to benefit Veterans Link Up, which provides much needed services to our veterans. The event is called “Party for the Patriots.” We are asking for a $20 donation and that will include FREE wine from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and 50% off drinks from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Leadership Miami is an annual program sponsored by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and several of Miami-Dade County’s premier companies, local agencies and corporations. The program is targeted towards men and women interested in making Miami a better place to live. Leadership Miami offers its members the opportunity to meet Miami’s leaders and to share an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills. The purpose of Leadership Miami is to prepare the next generation of Miamians to meet future challenges. The program provides members with lectures, seminars and small group discussions and leadership skills exercises to address vital issues affecting Miami-Dade County. This dynamic format stimulates vigorous and animated discussions by all participants.

The mission of Veterans Link Up is to build partnership of military and civilian service providers in South Florida who honor the service of military personnel, veterans, and the sacrifices of their by families, by providing comprehensive services to support achievement of their personal and professional goals.
