On Wednesday, May 9th, Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Leonard Pitts speaks about “A Single Garment of Destiny,” and how he views our commonalities and the interrelatedness of life. Leonard Pitts has written a syndicated column of commentary on pop culture, social issues and family life since 1994, with a readership estimated in the millions. This esteemed journalist is being honored with The Hank Meyer National Headliner Award previously presented to media luminaries such as Walter Cronkite, Wolf Blitzer, Katie Couric, Tom Brokaw.
