National Public Gardens Day
Today we celebrate and appreciate all that our nation’s public gardens and urban greenspaces offer, from art and education to healthy environments and lifestyles. Join us for a special guided tour of two local gardens designed by acclaimed landscape architect Raymond Jungles to showcase native plants and trees, waterfeatures with red mangrove and pond apple trees and the use of South Florida oolite limestone.
The tour features our newly-renovated garden as well as the rooftop garden of the New World Center.
Tours at 11AM and 2PM are limited to 20 participants each and last about an hour
Suggested donation $5 per person
Meet at the Garden’s Entrance Plaza at 18th Street & Convention Center Drive
