The three day M I A C O N (Miami Independent Artist Conference) will showcase music of all genres with workshops, discussion panels, music project critiques, and much more. In addition to business there will also be ample opportunity to enjoy the Miami sun at our poolside party events. This is open to all independent artists, bands, producers, DJs, managers, photographers, graphic designers, web designers, record labels and the general public. Basically if you are an independent artist and are involved with music, you should come and enjoy this weekend. All events are family friendly until 9pm, after 9pm 21 & over. There is no cost to submit your music. A weekend pass to attend is only $15. Kids 12 & under free.

This is what is called a group study. It can be very helpful on testing new music and getting your recording heard.

After attending college for fashion design in Brazil she moved to the United States in 2000 and made history with her world famous Kariza Wrap Skirts! Every piece of wearable art was responsible for generating financial growth to a lot of low income families in the local Indian communities, maintaining Eco-friendly and sustainable principles. www.kariza.com

1. A DJ will drop a beat.
2. You will rap over that beat for 2 minutes.
3. The crowd will pick the top 2 rappers.
4. The top 2 MCs will decide to rap over a beat or acapella.
5. The top 2 MCs will have 1 minute each to go at each other.
6 The crowd will pick a winner.
