The Padma Fertility Festival is to honor the Flowering of life upon the earth, the Flowering of your consciousness and the receptive feminine qualities of fertility in both earth and women. Padma is a Indian sanskrit word for Lotus, traditionally being a symbol for concsiousness, as the beautiful flower grows from the muddy waters blossoming into the light of its own awareness. Padma is a symbol of beauty, purity, spirituality and fertility that we find within the feminine forms.
