Zadok Gallery, The Everglades Foundation and WLRN are pleased to present Echo’s Breath, Alain Lefort’s photographic journey through the Florida Everglades.

Alain Lefort bends the formal and conceptual delineations of traditional photography by creating disquieting and engrossing landscapes from images captured in nature. Often selecting vignettes or fragments from a multitude of images, Lefort digitally sews them together to create a single, synthesized composition. Lefort’s pictures incite viewers to escape their urban confines in favor of primitive unconscious fantasies.

Having obtained a degree in photography at Concordia University, Lefort has successfully integrated his talents into the international art scene creating a niche of his own in the art world. He has exhibited his works in numerous galleries across Canada and the United States. His work can be found in several important collections including the Musée du Québec, the Cirque du Soleil, the Loto-Quebec and several private collections. He currently lives and works in Montreal.
