Downtown Miami is proud to be home to the 2012 NBA Champions, our Miami Heat!

A major celebratory parade will be taking place this Monday, June 25th.

The parade will start at 11am at the corner of 8th Street and 2nd Avenue continuing East along 8th Street turning North onto Brickell Avenue, across the bridge, and continuing North on Biscayne Boulevard ending at the AAA. Please note that traffic will be very heavy from 11am to approximately 1pm along the parameter of the parade.

We plan on wearing white on Monday and taking the Metromover for a very special lunch time parade!

Key Timeline- Monday, June 25, 2012:
9:00a.m. – AA Arena doors opened for “private event” for ticketed guests only.
10:30 a.m. – Doors closed and a hard – closure of exterior of building (no one allowed on property)
11:00 a.m. – Parade is scheduled to start on SW 8th Street and 2nd Avenue. A total of 23 double Decker buses will be transporting the players.
There will be barricades all along the parade route.
12:30ish –Parade ends and team joins private celebration event inside the AA Arena
