Style Week Resort Fashion Show at The Temple House on Friday, July 13, 2012.  We went to the 7pm  and saw the beautiful fashion from designer Janeane Marie.

Bio: “Janeane Marie is a women’s wear designer currently living in West Palm Beach, Florida. She got her start in fashion studying at the Art Institute of Portland and beginning an eponymous line in 2009. With a minimalist aesthetic, her work is inspired by nature, music, and the belief that less is always more.

Fashion was not always a dream for Janeane, in fact came a bit later for her. Before pursuing fashion, she studied language and literature in Italy for two years. Always intrigued by craft, her love of textiles led her to fashion studies when she moved back to Portland in 2005. After graduating with Honors in 2009, Janeane was selected to be a competing designer on Season 7 of Project Runway. Her collections have been shown at several fashion shows in Portland, including at Portland Fashion Week.”
