New Theme Nights Include “Boogie Nights” Featuring Disco Legend KC from KC and the Sunshine Band

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is thrilled to announce that, due to popular demand and glowing reviews, the run of the international phenomenon, THE DONKEY SHOW, has been extended. The show turned pop-up nightclub relives the decadent days of Studio 54 with roller skaters, go-go dancers and disco music. THE DONKEY SHOW will now run through August 18 at the Arsht Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House.

“We are thrilled to see how South Florida has embraced THE DONKEY SHOW,” said Executive Vice President, Scott Shiller. “We are responding to the Miami community and have decided to extend the run of THE DONKEY SHOW. Those that have not yet entered through the doors of Club Oberon will still have the opportunity to live this immersive summer experience.”

In addition to the extended dates, THE DONKEY SHOW will feature a new schedule and new theme nights during the weekends of August 10 and August 17 to further entice disco lovers:
o Girls Night Out: On Fridays at 7:30 p.m., groups of 5 or more will receive a discount and Disco Diva flair. Use promo code: GIRLS.

o Funky Fridays: On Fridays at 10:30 p.m., THE DONKEY SHOW, in conjunction with Miami New Times, will host official after-parties at The Stage (August 3), Ricochet (August 10) and Will Call (August 17). The promotion includes free admission to the after-party venues and a complimentary cocktail. Patrons from either performance must show their ticket stub for entry.

o Boogie Nights with KC: On August 5, 11 and 17 at 7:30 p.m., nightlife and boogie lovers will have the opportunity to meet KC from KC and the Sunshine Band. Patrons can “Get Down Tonight” with the disco legend as he joins the audience on the dance floor.

o Boys Night Out: On Saturdays at10:30 p.m., groups of 5 or more enjoy discounted tickets and disco flair. Use promo code: BOYS.
