Lily’s Light was created in 2009 in memory of Lily Plaza, a South Florida local and non-smoker who passed away from lung cancer in 2008. Lily’s Light is a partner of Uniting Against Lung Cancer, a national lung cancer research foundation which in just nine years has awarded over $8.5 million in research grants into diagnosis, treatment and a cure for the disease.
