The University of Miami Life Science & Technology Park is partnering with Lincoln Automotive in a special test drive event that will offer the public an opportunity to get behind the wheel of a 2013 Lincoln hybrid while supporting music-based education and outreach programs in Miami. For each participant who test drives a car during the Sept. 7th event, Lincoln will donate $20 to the Overtown Music Project. This is the next stop in the Lincoln Intelligence Project, a national effort in which companies compete to earn money for selected charities.
The public is invited to test drive a new Lincoln from the manufacturer’s 2013 lineup, including hybrid models. For each test drive, Lincoln will donate $20 to the Overtown Music Project. The event will feature a special performance by local R&B and blues legend Bobby Stringer and Tree Top.
Event is free and open to the public
Spokespersons will include representatives of the Overtown Music Project, the UM Life Science & Technology Park and Lincoln Automotive
