On Thursday, November 1st at 6:30pm the reception and private screening for American Man, a film directed and produced by Jon Frankel will be taking place at the University of Miami Storer Auditorium.
American Man, an emotional and inspiring documentary directed, produced and filmed by Jon Frankel, correspondent on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, chronicles the life of Kevin Turner, a former NFL player, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or more commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Suggested minimum donation of $50 per guest. Proceeds from the reception and private screening will benefit the ALS Recovery Fund and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Neurology for ALS research and patient care.
