In an effort to cultivate local businesses through networking, Nicole Waters, Career Navigator, will be hosting a business fair. The event, titled “Local Waters,” will feature over 20 local businesses for promotion and marketing while integrating food, drink and music for the public.

“I personally and strongly support small business which is where this idea stemmed from. When I started talking with my favorite businesses about it, before I knew it, I had 20 companies pledging support of the business fair,” stated Waters.  “This event is live social media and where a business fair might seem a little old school, the people in business who are creative in their marketing efforts are not. They are real people. The bottom line is that people do business with people they like and Local Waters will cater to that notion.”

Straying away from the norm, Local Waters will be staged as an expo-style event stylishly clad with an Emcee, sounds by DJ Sayho and an appearance by local celebrity Dee Adames, winner of the hit TV series “Shear Genius.” The event will feature a diverse roster of local businesses that will be intermingling for an upbeat and exciting evening of networking and promotion. While advocating cross-branding and cutting edge marketing practices, Local Waters will also boast endless business opportunities for those in attendance.

Featured businesses include, Panther Coffee, Hair by Dee, Car2Go, Phoebe & Friends, Bikram Yoga Central Miami, and Jackson Medical Healthy Systems.

Nicole A. Waters is a certified life coach.  She is a graduate of Kennedy-Western University with a B.A. in Business Management and Communications and has more than 17 years of business experience with such companies as MBNA America Bank, (Bank of America) and Mercedes-Benz.
