Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 87th Anniversary With ‘One To Grow On’ Campaign!

On Tuesday morning, October 16, 2012, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce received a proclamation during the City Commission meeting whereby  Mayor Jim Cason and the City of Coral Gables declared October 25th “Chamber Day in Coral Gables”, in celebration of the Chamber’s 87th Anniversary.

To celebrate this milestone achievement for our Chamber and to remind the Coral Gables community that the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce has been their faithful partner for nearly nine decades, the Chamber will host a unique event that will take place on a single day only in our community – Thursday, October 25.

Themed “One To Grow On”, Chamber leaders will swarm the community by sharing good news about our Chamber and our beloved City Beautiful. Throughout the day we will visit members and non-members of our Chamber one-on-one, directly in their place of business.

Our goals are to identify, connect and recruit new members who understand the value of our Chamber and the associated benefits they will receive to further build and strengthen our long-standing brand in the Coral Gables community.

We will conclude with a special celebration at Cibo Wine Bar as part of their one year anniversary event from 6-8pm. There will be a celebratory toast by Mayor Jim Cason, with special guests Robert Furniss-Roe, President of Bacardi North America and Nick Di Donato, President & CEO of Liberty Entertainment Group.
