Sea Tweetup Day 3 on the Norwegian Sky on Sunday, October 14, 2012.  The weather cleared up and we arrived at Nassau, Bahamas.  We where meet at the pier by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and took a tour bus ride to The Bahamas National Trust and was treated to a traditional Bahamanian breakfast which included, grits with a conch stew and a fish stew, hash, pan cakes, real homemade jelly – banana, guava, coconut, pineapple and mango, these were amazing the banana was my favorite.  We also had an assortment of pastry’s, amazing breads and fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh coconut water and tea. Then we got to see a presentation of several of the island, I had no idea that the Bahamas was that large – 700 islands make up the Bahamas. Then we hoped on the bus again and visited three art galleries and saw some amazing art all local artist. The first gallery was Doongalik Studios Art Gallery they had some amazing local artist and then we headed over to the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas and they had a great exhibition by Amos Ferguson know as the Bahamian Outsider. Our next stop was at Hillside House the studio and gallery of Antonius Roberts and his work is truly amazing.
The next stop was Senor Frogs for a tweetup and a shot of Patron XO Cafe before heading back to the ship. Once on board we had our second roundtable discussions with cocktails sponsored by Bacardi.  The first speaker was Brenda Mallett with Socially Engaged and our last speaker was Nathan Stobezski. We had a wonderful question and answer session for all of the speakers with sipping cocktails. Then we all headed to dinner and dancing. What a wonderful end to a great Sea Tweetup. Hope to see everyone back again next year and lots of new faces.
