The cellist Jason Calloway is back to open our second season of Acoustica 21 series that focuses on presentation of concert acoustic music written in the 21st century. Mr. Calloway will take us on a contemporary musical travelogue through exotic locales, from Azerbaijan to Hungary, Estonia, Japan, and Syria. The program features recent masterworks of Hosokawa and Kurtag as well as premieres of Frangiz Ali-Zadeh, Andrus Kallastu, and Kareem Roustom.
