The Arc Of South Florida Presents Second Annual Lawn Mower Race
Saturday, January 26th, 9am
Homestead-Miami Speedway
1 Speedway Boulevard
Homestead, FL 33035
The Arc of South Florida’s Second Annual Lawn Mower Race will be held in the lower display area just below the Homestead-Miami Speedway’s Champion Club in Turn 1.
Lawn mowers will be provided for those interested in entering the race.
The excitement is about racing around “a track†outside the stadium at low speed and stopping at different stations, each presenting an exciting challenge.
Drivers pay $25 to participate, while admission is free for the general public. The race will start at 10 a.m., but drivers must register by 9 a.m., with plenty of time to practice and get acquainted with their lawn mowers.
All proceeds will go towards advancing the Arc of South Florida programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Call Rick Pace at (305) 759-8500, ext. 110, to register.
