Tonight’s sets feature music for cello, video and electronics. The North Carolina-based cellist JW Turner performs works by F. de Sena, T. Judson and R. Parks. The cello becomes an expressive voice awakening overtone harmonies, live electronics and video game improv. The locals Jacob Sudol and Kyle Motl fabricate a live electronic music set from processing the recordings of Tibetan singing bowls, Tibetan prayer cymbals and giant tam-tams.
