‘for artists…By Artists’ presents a Culinary Digital Photographic Exhibition by Felipe Cuevas for the South Beach Food & Wine Edition
The objective of ‘for artists……BY ARTISTS’ (www.facebook.com/forartistsByArtists) is to create a social colony for artists from all disciplines of the arts with the focal point being on painters, photographers, designers and sculptors. Utilization of the technology at Haven and maximizing its potential is what sets this weekly exhibition apart from others.
About Felipe…
Since childhood, Chilean born and Miami-based photographer Felipe Cuevas uncovered that he could capture unforgettable moments with his camera. Landscapes and people were his first subjects during his travels around South America. Concerts and events followed and then his passion for food lead him to photograph and meet many of the top chefs in the country and their cuisines. His images have been featured in magazines, digital media and books, and his themed collections have been exhibited in galleries and museums. As a photographer for Univision for the past 15 years, Felipe has also captured the heart and soul of some of the most famous Latin and international stars, world famous athletes, landing his celebrity images in newspapers and magazines around the world. Most recently, Felipe was honored with a “Tribute to Music” exhibition during the 2011 Latin Grammys Awards in Las Vegas, where his iconic photographs of Latin Grammy winners from Celia Cruz to Ricky Martin lined the red carpet outside the venue.
