Wifredo Lam and The Cuban Avant-Garde: Fifty Years of Art presents a revealing selection of over forty-five paintings, works on paper and sculptures by artists such as, Wifredo Lam, Víctor Manuel, Abela Carlos Enríquez, Amelia, Carreño, Portocarrero, Ponce, Escobedo, Cundo, Mariano, Luis Martínez Pedro, Gattorno, Arístides Fernández Vázquez, Arche, Ravenet, Diago, Milián, Felipe Orlando, Mijares.
 
Highlighted above are two exemplary works by renowned painter Amelia Peláez.
