A special celebration for Haitian Heritage Month – FREE
Presented as part of a week of special events, co-presented with Commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones. The night features legendary konpa group Skah Shah #1 and fresh new stars X-Tassy in the plaza, an opening concert by ESMIA Children’s Orchestra of Miami Music Project in the theater, DJ Mack and Mizikpam.com between sets, and a closing blowout with Rara Lakay!
Plus Donna Karan’s Discover Haiti in the Gallery, presented with Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance, delicious kreyol cuisine from Leela’s Lakay for sale, ice cold Prestige Beer and other treats, activities for kids hosted by Positive Impact and the Bass Museum of Art. After show at 7th Circuit.
Presented by Rhythm Foundation and Little Haiti Cultural Center, with major support from the Knight Foundation and Boom.
