Discover the Downtown Arts & Culture District
This new cultural initiative shines a light on the growing art community and collector market in Downtown Miami, bringing together non-profit arts organizations and local galleries for special exhibitions, artists open studios, exclusive openings, artist panel discussions. The Art Walk is planned to be held the first Friday of every month January to June and October to December.
The September Art Walk will be held in conjunction with DWNTWN Art Days, Sept. 20-22 .
The “First Friday†Art Walk will showcase over 150 exhibiting artists offering an array of art experiences that will reflect multiple mediums, styles, and trends in the art world. Miami is the crossroads between three fabulous cultures- Central/South America/Caribbean, Europe and North America- so it is ideally located to bring together the best of these cultures.

Open Artist Studios
McCormick Place is a vibrant production-based event space featuring various well-known artists. Currently, it houses nine artist studios belonging to Eleazar Delgado, Scottie Flamm, Virginia Erdie, Julie Ross, Karen Kim, Manuel Rodriguez, Ana Rossi, Scott Doyle and Eva Avila. There is also a gallery space located on the first floor. Sean McCormick, the curator behind the venue, describes it as "a place where any idea can come to life."
