To inspire, educate, and bring people together; create awareness for America’s most original and unique artform; contribute to the multi-cultural family-friendly human condition of the City of Hialeah; help to further establish Hialeah as a cultural attraction enjoyed by residents and visitors from around the World; attract more business as a result of visitors to Jazzonian in the City of Hialeah; children and adults will benefit from the community educational outreach initiatives.
The mission of Jazz Museum of Florida (Jazzonian) is to celebrate Jazz heritage, collect, document, preserve and present the rich Jazz traditions from its origins to modern-day variations through a permanent museum, virtual online and traveling art/photo/film and artifacts exhibitions, historical archives, recordings, literature, audio/visual experiences, interactive cultural education programs, live musical performances and special events for children and adults.
