As much a part of summer as baseball and watermelon is MANO’s new exhibit “Summer Crush”, poking at the inner child in all of us reminding us that it’s not just that extra hour of daylight that makes summer so great.

The exhibit integrates many of the elements and mediums that the artist has engaged with over the last several years. In Summer Crush, MANO’s beach-goers evoke a sense of nostalgia and memories of more innocent times when White Castle burgers, hot mustangs, and cruising the board walk were the essentials for a perfect summer or was it a summer crush that made everything seem perfect. it’s also the memory of White Castle burgers, hot mustangs, cruising the board walk or maybe it was a summer crush that made everything seem perfect.

MANO Fine Art Project Space is the working studio of Miami-based artist MANO and an exhibition and project space for art related events. MANO Fine Art participates in the Bird Road Art Walk, held on the third Saturday of each month.

Bird Road Art Walk:
MANO Fine Art is one of the founding members of the Bird Road Art Walk. In 2011, Miami New Times ranked the Bird Road Art Walk as Miami’s Best Art Walk. Since then the Bird Road Art Walk has continued to growing. Visitors to the area will find a thriving community of artists who open their studios and alternative spaces to the public. On the third Saturday of every month we invite the art-loving public to join us from 7:00 pm -10:00 pm, for an evening of art, culture and the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and meet the artists in their own studios which are normally only open by appointment.

The Art Walk takes place just east of the Palmetto Expressway’s 40th Street Exit and just south of 40th Street (also known as “Bird Road”). Primarily on SW 75 Ave & SW 74 Ave. Enjoy ample free parking, a complimentary shuttle service and start your Art Walk at any of the participating studios.
