Marlins raise awareness for the National Blood Clot Alliance hosting their inaugural awareness event at Marlins park on Sunday, July 28th as the Marlins take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Blood clots cause an average of sixteen deaths a day in Florida, but can be prevented simply by knowing the risks, signs and symptoms. Special ticket offer purchased by groups of 20+ have the opportunity to have a special volunteer or survivor recognized on the field prior to the game.
