Join the James Beard Foundation and special guest host Ted Allen of Food Network’s Chopped for a stellar event with South Florida’s finest chefs. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception hosted in the gardens of The Ancient Spanish Monastery and will feature light bites from Miami’s Next Generation of rising stars, including Dena Marino of MC Kitchen; David Bracha of The River Seafood & Oyster Bar; “Chef Pai†of Khong River House; Jose Mendin of Pubbelly Restaurant Group; Clayton Miller of Yardbird; and Giorgio Rapicavoli of Eating House. Specialty cocktails will be prepared by mixologists Elad Zvi and Gabriel Orta of Bar Lab.
Following the cocktail reception, guests will be treated to an unforgettable menu from an impressive lineup of Culinary Masters, which include dishes by Norman Van Aken of Tuyo; Allen Susser of Chef Allen’s Consulting; Lorena Garcia of Lorena Garcia Cocina; Michael Schwartz of Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink; and Yigit Pura of Tout Sweet Patisserie, Top Chef: Just Desserts winner.
