Improv is the art of acting without written lines, every line and scene is made up on the spot and is often associated with comedy. Improvisational acting, or “improv” as we know it today is an original American art form that originated in Chicago during the 1940s. The Invention Theater & Production Company’s two troupes; “Negative Four Months” and “Always Cherish Cheese” will have a special performance in collaboration with MANO Fine Art for the Opening Reception of Made in the U.S.A. an exhibit that explores contemporary American culture.
