Jose Higuera’s paintings transport the viewer to the streets of Manhattan, the Capitol of Havana and sweeping vistas of the Spanish countryside.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage month Arte Venezolano en Miami invites you to meet Spanish artist, Jose Higuera, on Thursday. October 3 and enjoy a special tasting of Spanish tapas and wine.
About the Artist:
Self taught artist, Jose Higuera claims that he was an artists at birth. Always curious and always drawing, It is no wonder that Higuera is know internationally for his mastery of realism in particular his still lives and landscape paintings which have the power to transport thew viewer. Higuera who currently resides outside of Segovia, affirms that he paints for himself, only what he loves and does not to seek approval from others. While he has exhibited throuhout the United States, Higuera’s solo exhibition at Arte Venezolano en Miami marks his debut in Miami.
