“The 2013-2014 Sixth Anniversary Jazz Roots season kicks off with a spectacular concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic film The Pink Panther and its composer – the musical genius Henry Mancini, who is renowned for his memorable film and television scores. This one-night-only tribute program celebrates Mancini’s career in an unprecedented multi-media setting with music and film projections from the composer’s hit films and TV shows, including The Pink Panther, Peter Gunn, Days of Wine and Roses, Hatari,Charade, Mr. Lucky, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and many more.”
