The walkers of South Florida have risen again for the 3rd annual Fort Lauderdale Zombie Walk. The event this year will be held at Americas Backyard. Hungry growling walkers will take on the skilled zombie response team at Revolution Live before invading downtown Fort Lauderdale’s Himarshee District at 10pm for the walk.

The city would like to warn all citizens that during this free event more than 2,000 walkers will be wrecking havoc on downtown Fort Lauderdale. The zombies will be participating in spooky crafts from local crafters and a Live DJ set from Tonx. For zombies that are hoping to devour something other than BRRAAIINSS, the streets will be lined with some of the best food trucks in south Florida offering zombie inspired menus.

Yes, even zombies drink too! Free drinks will be given out, in Americas Backyard, to zombie participants after the walk. Costume contest for children and adults (kids at 8pm and adults following the walk) will take place. Get your tickets early for a chance to have your makeup done by one of six horror makeup artists that will help take your undead look to another level!
