One of South Florida’s most popular annual food and wine fundraisers, March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction presented by Goya Foods, will return for its 16th year on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, featuring an array of amazing chefs from Miami’s most popular restaurants. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., taking place at the Hyatt Regency Miami in downtown Miami.
This year’s extravaganza will showcase dozens of Miami’s top chefs. Top toques confirmed thus far include: Wolfgang Birk of Area 31, Todd Erickson of HaVen Gastro-Lounge and Huahua’s Taqueria, Timon Ballo of SUGARCANE raw bar grill, Alberto Cabrera of Bread+Butter, Brian Nasajon of SUSHISAMBA Coral Gables, Nina Compton of Scarpetta at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Fernando Desa of Goya, Jamie DeRosa of Tongue & Cheek, Aaron Brooks of Edge Steak & Bar at Four Season Miami, Cesar Zapata of The Federal, Philippe Ruiz of Lippi Restaurant, Conor Hanlon of The Dutch at W South Beach, Doug Sisk from The Social Club at Surfcomber, Paolo Dorigato of Dolce Italian, Willy Hernandez of Zielo Restaurant, Alan Hughes of The Embassy and David Bracha of Oak Tavern.
In addition to a stellar roster of signature chefs and amazing food, guests will enjoy wines and champagnes from the world’s finest vineyards and distilleries, courtesy of Southern Wine & Spirits. This year’s event also promises exciting live and silent auction items including dining packages, fine wines and champagnes, travel and hotel stays in exotic locations, fine art and other specialty items, with all proceeds benefiting the March of Dimes.
