Les Dames d’Escoffier Miami (LDEM), a South Florida culinary organization comprised of distinguished women leaders in food, wine, hospitality and farming will hold its annual Escoffier dinner on Saturday, November 16 at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, 3300 NW 27th Avenue. The glamorous black tie event will get underway at 6:30 pm with champagne and canapés; at 8:00 pm guests will sit for a spectacular five course gourmet dinner with paired wines prepared by the hotels’s executive chef Ramesh Kuduru. The evening will honor Chef Michael Schwartz with the first LDEM Achievement Award, for his exceptional commitment to providing the South Florida community with fresh, locally grown food, supporting the people who grow food through his farm-to-table philosophy and nurturing a new generation of knowledgeable consumers.
Tickets are priced at $170 per person for members of Les Dames and $185 for the general public; while patron tickets are $250. Tables for eight are $1,360 for reservations made prior to October 7.
