MANO turns to Cuba’s Vanguard movement of the 1920s & 1930s as inspiration for his latest collection, returning to his gestural format of abstract expressionism and using unlikely materials, MANO channels “La Vanguardia” in CIRCA NOW; opening Saturday, October 19th in conjunction with the third-year anniversary celebration of the Bird Road Art Walk. Bird Road Art Walk:
Celebrating it’s third-year anniversary on Saturday, October 19th!
In 2011, Miami New Times ranked the Bird Road Art Walk as Miami’s Best Art Walk. Since then the Bird Road Art Walk has continued to growing. Visitors to the area will find a thriving community of artists who open their studios and alternative spaces to the public. On the third Saturday of every month we invite the art-loving public to join us from 7:00 -10:00 pm, for an evening of art and artistic vibes, and the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes in the artists studios which are normally only open by appointment.
The Art Walk takes place just east of the Palmetto Expressway’s 40th Street Exit and just south of 40th Street (also known as “Bird Road”). Primarily on SW 75 Ave & SW 74 Ave. Enjoy ample free parking, a complimentary shuttle service. Start your Art Walk at any of the participating venues.
