1,000 participants expected for this year’s event that benefits CancerFree KIDS Pediatric Cancer Research Alliance. After the run/walk, participants will be invited to enter the Deering property for a post-race event that will include a raffle, music, food, drinks, bounce-houses and other entertainment in the family area.

All participants will be automatically entered to win one of many prizes including a weekend stay at Conrad Miami hotel, Miami Seaquarium dolphin swim, admission to other attractions and a host of other prizes. Those wishing to enter, but not run, can make a donation or purchase a raffle ticket for $5.

This year, Reason to Run is teaming up with Ronald McDonald House. Participants are asked to bring an item from the Ronald McDonald House Wish List posted on the event website.
