The shutdown might be over. But the budget battle on Capitol Hill continues. Between now and January 15th, Congress will be debating what next year’s federal budget will look like. What’s that mean for us? A lot of work in these next few weeks to make sure cost-effective, poverty-fighting programs don’t get cut.
