The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum and Florida International University are co-sponsoring the 2013 International Sculpture Symposium, “Makers & Shapersâ€. The event, organized by the International Sculpture Center (ISC), will bring together artists, collectors, curators and art enthusiasts for panel discussions, keynote addresses, optional tours, a reception, and a multi-day iron pour by the Iron Maidens, an international sculpture group. Among other activities, participants will have the opportunity to tour the Sculpture Park on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Featured speakers at the Symposium include internationally acclaimed sculptors Steve Tobin, Ursula von Rydingsvard and Guerra de la Paz, among others. Other activities will take place at various venues in and around Miami and Miami Beach.
