Le Petit Papillon Montessori School, Miami Beach’s highly renowned Montessori School is thrilled to announce their third annual family-friendly event, “Everyone’s An Artist,†as a complement to Art Basel (Miami’s internationally acclaimed art show).
Following the tremendous success of last year’s “Street Funk†showcase, Le Petit Papillon is once again providing an engaging artistic venue for families with children of all ages during Art Basel. The school’s mission is to create an unforgettable evening guaranteed to stimulate children’s senses and expose art appreciation through various artistic outlets. Parents and children are invited to walk the enchanting grounds of the campus and observe photography installations, watercolor and literary works by Le Petit Papillon’s savvy Toddler, Pre-K and Elementary students.
Preview exhibits including “A Tribute to Banksy,†a black and white photo installation in honor of world-renowned British graffiti artist Banksy, emulating his stencil-like masterpieces; “What is Art?,†a collage of words hand-picked by students depicting their interpretation of art, and “Color by Numbers,†a watercolor ensemble of vibrant hues painted by Le Petit’s Toddler classes.
Plus, enjoy captivating performances by fire throwers and mimes, and a musical war as DJ’s from Expressions of Talent battle and compete for the best beat. Gourmet tastings and refreshments will be served. Families are encouraged to wear black attire.
