In honor of the 100th Anniversary of Joe DiMaggio’s birth, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital will be presenting the first ever Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award. This award will be given to that individual who represents the highest of values for which Joe DiMaggio stood.

Recipient of the inaugural Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award is:

President Bill Clinton, Founder of the Clinton Foundation and 42nd President of the United States

The award will be presented on the evening of Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Don Taft University Center on the campus of Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Avenue, Davie, Florida.

The inaugural Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award has been authorized by Mr. DiMaggio’s estate and family.
