Winn-Dixie invites South Florida shoppers to join us for an afternoon of family, food and fun to kick-off this year’s Calle Ocho festival with mini celebrations throughout February at select Miami stores. As part of the celebrations, shoppers will enjoy a special cooking demonstration by Univision’s Celebrity Chef Maggie Jiménez. Known for her simple and delicious recipes that make it so easy to learn, Jiménez will prepare easy Kraft Food recipes such as Mesquite Chicken Breasts with Lime-Avocado Salsa, JELL-O Fruit and Cookie Dream and Tanguila Sunrise.

In addition to the cooking demonstrations, event attendees will also enjoy a variety of food sampling stations, Coca-Cola sampling, giveaways and more, plus a special visit by Miss Carnaval.
