The Miami based Holistic Health Fund will once again bring health awareness to South Florida by hosting the 3rd Annual Holistic Health Fund Walk-a-Thon & Expo. The Expo will feature a day of free informative workshops, raffle prizes, music and more. Food will be available throughout the day to purchase from a great selection of healthy choice vendors.This year, in addition to the Walk-a-Thon & Expo itself, The Holistic Health Fund and the Consortium for a Healthier Miami Dade will kick off “HEALTHY HAPPENS HERE†with the first ever Health Flash Mob, inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move†campaign against childhood obesity. Participants will do a “Flash Mob†dance routine to Beyoncé’s hit song: “Move Your Bodyâ€
Participation in the Walk-A-Thon held on the Expo grounds will raise funds for social outreach programs and awareness campaigns. All participants in the Walk- A-Thon will receive a commemorative “I Walk The Talk†T-shirt with their $15.00 Walk-A-Thon registration fee. This event will be fun for the whole family and something for everyone to enjoy. The Holistic Health Fund is a 501(c) 3 Non Profit organization. Its mission is to make holistic health the affordable first choice for healing in the United States through educational and treatment outreach programs.
