Cupid’s arrow has moved Miami Romance Month from June to the month of February this year offering visitors and locals value added deals to inspire romantic getaways and activities. Love Song Serenades at Brickell:
Officially kicking off Miami Romance Month on Thursday, January 30, 2014, local singer and pianist Brendan O’Hara will surprise Mary Brickell Village diners with romantic love song serenades featuring tunes from one of Broadway’s most celebrated and Tony Award winning plays, “Once.” The traveling show will come to Miami (February 4 – 9) at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. During the event, those who snap a romantic photo and share it on Instagram using #MiamiRomance and #OnceMusical will be entered for a chance to win two tickets to “Once” on February 4th at the Arsht Center.
Love Sets Sail:
From February 1, the Visit Miami Facebook page www.facebook.com/visitmiami will host a ‘Miami Romance Month Norwegian Getaway Giveaway’ giving fans the chance to enter to win a seven-day cruise for two aboard Miami’s Ultimate Ship â„¢, Norwegian Getaway, and a two-night stay in Miami pre-or-post cruise. What has now become an annual Miami Romance Month event, the It’s So Miami Wedding Showcase (hosted at the Coral Gables Country Club on February 4 from 5:30-8:30pm), will be an informative and fun-filled evening for couples considering a destination wedding. From delicious sweets and savory samples, to top tips from premier local wedding planners, designers, florists and caterers, having a wedding in Greater Miami could go from dream to reality. Attendees will also have the chance to win a cruise for two on Norwegian Getaway.
