American Social’s Foie Gras French Toast was awarded the coveted Miami New Times Short Order’s “Best Bites on the Beach” at the annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Grand Tasting Village. More than 6,000 hungry guests visited the sand for the sampling smorgasbord on Feb. 22nd. Out of 40 of South Florida’s most popular restaurants, AmSo’s sweet and savory dish took home the prestigious prize.

In celebration of its tasting takeover, AmSo is offering samples of its award-winning dish for $10 (orig. $16) from March 10th through 31st when patrons mention “Best Bites”. Stop by and sample the homemade and fluffy miniature orange and ginger battered pieces of French toast topped with seared foie gras, a dollop of Maury Island blackberry jam, a drizzle of bourbon maple syrup and finished with powdered sugar and lightly sweetened Mascarpone cheese.
