We all know Italian mothers have a special way around the kitchen, and Mama Cea of Café Prima Pasta is no exception with her traditional, award-winning cuisine, which for the past 20 years has made celebrities such as Matt Damon, Lenny Kravitz and Dwyane Wade regulars of the family owned and operated restaurant.

Prima will celebrate Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 11th) with complimentary “mom-mosas” and new dinner specials added to its al la carte menu including Eggplant Rollatini ($14), sliced eggplant wrapped with ricotta and artisanal cheeses topped with pomodoro sauce; Short Rib Risotto ($14 or $28), braised short ribs over a bed of saffron risotto available as an appetizer or entrée; Lobster, Crab & Shrimp Ceviche ($18), fresh seafood medley marinated in lemon juice; Ravioli Porcini ($21), perfectly puffed pasta pockets stuffed with delicate porcini mushrooms in a creamy truffle sauce; Lobster Fra Diavolo ($38), whole lobster in a spicy marinara sauce served with homemade linguini or the Fish of the Day ($28), fresh catch straight from sea served with fire-grilled vegetables.
