Vacation in Rome like a Local with Rent in Rome

Rome is one of the best cities in the world to visit. The food is magnificent, the architecture is sublime and there are copious amount of historical sites and energy to take in. It is very easy to figure out the best to sites to see in Rome but people really struggle with where to stay. Hotels are very expensive, especially the ones located in the prime locations. Hostels are not cheap and those that are, will generally not be located in best areas. If you manage to stay in a central location, you can easily walk to almost all of the historic sites from your home base. The best way to discover and experience a city is to walk everywhere, so we highly recommend securing a centrally located spot.
Lucky for you, we have a solution with the site Rent in Rome.  We used it for two separate apartments and were thrilled. Rent in Rome allows you to choose from a plethora of apartments for your vacation. Ranging from cute to gorgeous, they are located in some of the best and most central areas of the city.
Staying in an apartment when traveling lends a completely different taste to your trip. You feel like you are living in your own home abroad allowing you to absorb the atmosphere, tradition and culture of the country more like a local. Renting an apartment for your holiday, gives you the most bang for your buck too, especially if you are planning a trip with lots of people. It is much less expensive than staying at a hotel and allows you to easily accommodate all members of your group under one roof. You can enjoy every single moment with them sharing and cooking your own meals or just chilling with a nice bottle of wine in your living room, garden or balcony.
The first apartment we stayed in was an adorable and typical furnished Roman style apartment. It was located right next to the famous Campo de Fiori, which is a phenomenal central location allowing us to walk everywhere from our home — nothing was ever too far. Â We enjoyed the historical aspects of the apartment, as it was kept mostly in its original state and specialized artisans were hired to touch up and restore it. While only two of us stayed at the apartment, it can hold four people (possibly more) comfortably. It also has a cute terrace garden that is perfect for a bottle of wine or two. Â The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a historic building (one of the most ancient in the area) and has been recently renovated and decorated. There is a closet in the entrance area with that leads up to the second floor. There you will find a nice bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed and a kitchen equipped with an oven and a fridge, and other things you may need during your stay.
The second apartment we stayed at through Rent in Rome was a recently restored loft in the Trastevere area. Trastevere is where the real Roman locals live, so it really affords you the opportunity to experience the real essence of the Roman people. It is right next to a street with a tram that will take you to Campo de Fiori as well as Piazza Venezia.  A lovely entrance leads into the living area with a beautiful and comfortable sofa that can be turned into a double bed, a flat screen TV, a dining area for four and a fireplace. The living room also has a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. An elegant wooden staircase gave us access to the mezzanine area with the master bedroom and another bathroom with shower. The apartment is very quiet, as it overlooks the courtyard and a street that is closed to traffic. The comfortable loft has a very sleek and modern aura and we loved it
We stayed in both these apartments and would recommend them both. We personally met Simon, the company owner and he is a sweet and accommodating guy. While staying at a hotel is nice, it is prohibitively expensive and makes us feel like we are tourists when we prefer to feel like locals. You know the saying, “When in Rome do as the Romans do Well this is a perfect chance to make this famous quote actually come true.
