“Back to School – Now, Back to You “
For the very first time, The Women’s Breast Health Initiative (WBHI), Macy’s, Baptist Health of South Florida and Massage Envy of Pembroke Pines have joined forces to ensure that women are taken care of now that the children are going back to school.
This summer’s Back to School – Now, Back to You women’s health campaign will combine fashion, fun and fighting breast cancer and heart disease. On Saturday, August 9th at 1:30PM, Macy’s will host its back to school fashion show extravaganza. WBHI, a Miami-based nonprofit organization and Baptist Health of South Florida will be at the mall entrance of Macy’s at Westland Mall from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM providing free heart screening, making appointments for free mammograms, conducting physical activity and nutrition sessions, and providing fresh fruits and vegetables and a special gift. Additionally, when women who sign up for mammograms at the event complete their mammograms on or before September 8, 2014, they will receive a 1 hour massage gift card from Massage Envy Pembroke Pines.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to shop for a cause. At the event, you can Donate $5 to WBHI and receive a Macy’s coupon to save 25% off on August 23th on regular, sale & clearance items (restrictions may apply). When you “Shop for a Cause,” you will be eligible to win a $500 gift card, no purchase necessary.
