The Miami Urban Music & Film Festival is a catalyst for hipsters, trend-setters and entertainment industry advocates to discover and support local emerging and blossoming talent in music and film. MUMFF also aims to support an effort to position Miami as an entertainment hub thus the MUMFF will be held at Miami Dade College Wolfson campus which is strategically located in downtown Miami.
The MUMFF scheduled lineup features guest musical artists and a roster of short films from local and regional filmmakers and productions from Lesesne Media Group Entertainment, the host company. The Miami Urban Music & Film Festival also plans an awards reception recognizing individuals who impact and advocate the local and global entertainment community.
Urban is a lucrative genre in film and music that consistently turns a profit. Realizing the economic benefits that an indigenous creative community can deliver, organizers of the upcoming Miami Urban Music & Film Festival (MUMFF) will place a strong emphasis on strategies needed to cultivate a stronger, more successful local entertainment economy. Scheduled for September 25-27, the MUMFF will bring together local business and economic leaders from various industries and organizations. The MUMFF will also invite diverse suppliers and vendors that provide resources to the entertainment industries.
“We will provide insight from business leaders, economists, elected officials who can do something about making South Florida more economically viable for creative producers who live and work in the area†said Tony C. Lesesne, co-producer of the event.
