MDAD Mission: “To create one voice for all Art, History, and Cultural organizations and to establish First Friday Arts Night for the benefit of all in the District.  The Miami Downtown Arts District’s vision is two-fold: To showcase Downtown Miami as a destination where the community can become familiar with local artists, smaller galleries and venues, and the businesses that exhibit and support the arts; and to extend its support of the greater whole and efforts by the larger cultural institutions, art fairs, and the Miami Downtown Development Authority to establish Downtown Miami as an internationally-recognized cultural epicenter.”
