Voices For Children Foundation Inc. to host its 30th anniversary at the “Be A Voice Awards Luncheon,” presented by Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson P.A., with the goal of raising funds to benefit Miami-Dade County’s foster children. Emceed by Laurie Jennings, Anchor of Local 10 News, this event brings together approximately 500 guests including attorneys, judges, elected officials, community leaders, volunteers and supporters to recognize those individuals, corporations and organizations that have made a significant contribution in the area of child abuse and neglect in Miami-Dade County. The Betsy Gunn Award will be presented to veteran Guardian ad Litem volunteer Johan Askowitz and special recognition will be given to those who have been a voice to the children in our community time and again over the course of our 30 years. This event is open to all members of the public. Please RSVP by October 24.
